“And do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what the will of god is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
Reading that scripture made me think very deep about the life that I’m living. We all have that moment when we just sit back and think “Am I really living out my purpose in life?” Things don’t always happen when we want them to. God is telling us that we need to fix something inside of us to make our outside world look better. I have had my problems with feeling confused or stuck just because things weren’t always happening when I thought they would.
I realized that every time I kept my fears of looking foolish, the goals that I set never were accomplished. I learned from a successful mentor that ‘Fear never leaves us. The difference is successful people just do it anyway’. We all have things that could be holding us back but may not be aware of it.
Take some time to ask yourself what’s moving you forward and what’s blocking you from your blessings. Ask the people closest to you for their honest opinion on what they see you can improve to reach the next level. A different perspective can open up your mind to things you never thought of and get you back on track towards your dream. I read all the time how only a small percentage of people in this world get to live out the dream and the rest just struggle for life. I want to see everybody excelling in their own right.
God is telling us with Romans 12:2 that we can live out our dreams by staying true to the visions He gives us and not everything that’s going on in the world. I say to everyone believe in yourself and keep pushing towards your dreams.
