So I literally was blessed by a bottle of washing detergent. 
I know you’re thinking, “What? How can washing detergent bless someone?”
Well listen here young grasshopper, lol, maybe you’ll understand after fully reading this. I live on my own, I’m raising a nine year old boy and I work like six jobs (I don’t get tired….no I really do lol). So simple things like doing laundry can be tiresome after a long work day. Though, regardless of my day, my clothes won’t wash themselves. Hopefully an app will be created for that one day in the near future.
Anywho, once I drank some of my energizing loose leaf tea,
But I was a bit worried. After packing the basket, I couldn’t find my washing detergent. I looked in all possible places…and there was nothing. Due to being tired, I allowed this SMALL issue to add stress to my day.
I began to think, “OMG, I’m too tired for this. I don’t feel like going to the store to buy more detergent. I don’t remember using it all! Maybe I did?! I don’t know.” All of this worry over washing detergent.
Soon enough, I looked one last place. A place where I spend 70% of my time. My car. I knew it wasn’t in my backseat, so I checked the trunk. After peering through knickknacks, shoes and my spare tire…I noticed a bottle of detergent! Instantly I yelled, “Praise God!” Then I laughed at myself, like did you just praise God for detergent?
Yes I did. Then, I looked down and saw another bottle. I was thinking, “This is too good to be true. This has to be windshield wiper fluid or something.” I turn the bottle over and it was a larger bottle of washing detergent that was practically over flowing! There was detergent on the verge of seeping out it was so full!
That’s when I was immediately blessed. It became more than just about my clothes. It was what God spoke to me. Right when I decided to panic, over something so small, God guided me to what He had for me. And what He had for me was ultimately more than what I was looking for and expecting!
I honestly was expecting to have an attitude. I was planning to drive to the nearest department store, purchase the detergent with an attitude and use it with an attitude. But God said no.
Instead I received my blessing in awe. Rejoiced and praised with much gratitude. And the blessings then flowed abundantly!
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.“
Moral of the story, praise God for the good and bad times. Just like you allow small things to stress you, praise God for the small blessings. If it weren’t for small blessings, you wouldn’t know how to handle bigger blessings! Appreciate the flow and the process.

This just blessed my spirit! You reminded me how important having faith & remaining positive always yields something good & not to sweat the little & big things. Just last week I took my car in for an oil change & to check the reason for the engine light coming on & off. Now my car has been sounding funny but has continued to get me from point a to b. Let me point out its only 4 yrs old! Well the mechanic stated I needed to run an additional test other than a dianogistic test which would be $294. This test would give the problem. A few hours later I receive a call that now my engine needs to be broke down to find the problem. That would start at a cost of $1100. I declined & stated I will come pick up my car. Now the entire time returning to the service dept. I kept thinking what am I paying close to $300 for & I still don’t know what’s wrong. I paid the cost & upon getting in my car to leave it did not start. I almost lost my mind. One of the mechanics boosted my car & at that moment the manager came out & asked what happened. I explained the situation, he took me back into his office, reviewed my receipt & 20 minutes later my money was refunded!! The manager said he’s not in busy of having customers pay for something that doesn’t make sense. At that moment I had to thank God & his timing. Now I still am not sure what’s wrong withy car but know that everything will be ok & that I will find the right person to fix this problem. Remaining positive & having faith will always lead to wonderful things occurring!!!
Wow!!! That is an amazing testimony. God always works it out right?? It’s always those moments no one explain that you know it’s nothing but God. I know sometimes God uses minor situations to remind me to fully trust in Him. Thanks for sharing! I love it! ❤️
