Trusting God is probably one of the toughest things to do. You’re inevitably trusting someone that you cannot physically see. That’s been something that has always stuck out to me: I’m trusting blindly.
In the past, I have second guessed God’s existence. I mean, how did He even come into existence in the first place? How did He even create the Earth and all it’s beings? These things have run through my mind many times, even sometimes today.
People can always give you an answer, and try to get you to understand their ideas on God, but what it ultimately comes down to is trust. You might not think about it, but your whole relationship is built on trust. You are trusting your life, and everything you do, in the hands of someone else, someone you can’t even see.
Trusting God is so important. If you lack trust, then you are lacking the key element. You trust in God when you pray. You trust in God when you make your decisions. You trust in God for basically every aspect of your life. But what does the Bible even say about trusting Him?
Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV states, “5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Trusting God will lead you on the right path. When you’re doubting what direction to go in life, pray about it, and trust that God will direct you to the right choices. God will never leave you stranded, as mentioned in Pslam 9:10 NIV, “10 Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.” If you pray, and seek out His will for your life, you can’t go wrong. His way will always be the right way, no matter what you or the world might think.
When you decide things based on your own understanding, you’re not going to get anywhere. You might for a while, but in the end, you won’t go as far as you would have if you had put your complete trust in God. According to Proverbs 28:26, “26 He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.” Place your trust in God’s wisdom, for He knows the plan for your life.
We can’t physically see God with our eyes, but we can feel His presence with our heart. God has never and will never forsake us. We just need to place our complete trust in Him, and believe that He’ll come through with whatever our needs may be.
So if you’re going through a rough time, pray about it, and let God have full control. Trust him, and know that whatever is meant to be, will be.yours He won’t let nothing come to you that isn’t meant to, and He won’t let nothing pass you, that isn’t suppose to. It’s all about trust.
Yours Truly,
