Spring is creeping upon us here in the Midwest and we are excited!
Spring can mean so many things. For me, spring awakens new possibilities. New opportunities. Though, the funny thing is, before Spring hits, we as a group of people feel the need to ‘get ready’ for Spring. You know how…we focus on working off that holiday food and getting our beach bodies in full effect. Even if you aren’t planning to visit a beach, exercising is a fun and healthy way to get into shape. You may be attending a business conference, a family reunion or you may just want to fit into a different size clothing! These are all great reasons to get fit.
December 21, 2014, I had the pleasure of meeting Kate Duryea, owner of Dimvaloo in St. Louis MO. As soon as I entered the store, I fell in love. The ambiance immediately grabbed me. The glittered ceiling lighting bounces off of the active wear beautifully. The displayed tops with uplifting quotes, uplifted me.
The other amazing thing about Dimvaloo is they not only offer amazing clothing, but also fitness classes! Wine Down Wednesdays! Isn’t that convenient and amazing? You can’t make an excuse to miss class by saying, “I have no athletic wear.” Nope. Won’t work because they have plenty for men and women.

Walking into this store definitely motivated me to start my workout routine and of course share with others!
But the funny thing is, with the holiday season, a heavy work schedule, and just LIFE….I let the Winter pass by without really working out! NOOO. Now I have to get to WERK.
I have many trips planned this summer and photo shoots! So I need to get my model body on. Yes I know you may look at my pictures and wonder what I need to lose, trust me…pictures are deceiving. And my tummy suck in game is strong. Any who, for those who need tips on getting into working off unwanted fat, try the following regimens:
–Wake up early! Give yourself time to start your day with a calm healthy mind, rather than stressful.
–Drink water w/lemon! Lemon controls your appetite so you won’t want to snack so much during downtime at work!
–Workout for 10 minutes every morning! Yes 10 minutes.
I like The Nike Training Club App! It features several different workout routines you can make just for you. Also there are videos to show you how to properly do the exercise!
