It’s now February, which means a new month. A new start, right? Although I believe you can truly start over at any moment in the year, a new month just feels like a perfect time, or at least it seems that way.

The New Year wasn’t too long ago, and we all set out to do amazing things. We had goals we wanted to accomplish, and we were excited. We were excited to go after our dreams, and to fulfill the desires we have in our hearts. But like usual, that spark inside you, that wanted more than anything to achieve those things, slowly died out.

You see, we get so excited, and we have a light in our eyes when we talk about that one thing we want to do, and slowly that light turns into ‘maybe one day’. You start to lose that dream, and you tell yourself maybe another day.

The excitement for the New Year has worn off, and that’s to be expected. We have 11 more months of the year, and January is over.

I decided on a goal I want to accomplish starting now. Not starting sometime in the future, but now. If we don’t go out to achieve those dreams, they will never happen.

Think of your dream. You got it in your mind? Okay, well know that there are so many things holding you back right now. So many things the devil is putting in your mind, and life, telling you that you aren’t enough.

 

Telling you that maybe someday you will be worthy enough of that dream. Important enough for God to allow it to happen. Good enough to actually achieve it. Telling you it’s just not now.

But let me tell you.

You are enough. 

You are worthy.

You are important.

You are good enough.

It doesn’t matter if your dream is to be on the cover of a magazine, or if you dream to just be able to afford to buy a magazine.

 

Do whatever it takes to make that dream come true. Nothing is too big to dream for, and there’s no small dream. It’s your dream.

God placed that dream in your heart for a reason. You don’t have to wait for a new year to go out and do it. You don’t have to wait for a new month to go after it.

Yes, it’s a new month, and yes I want to make the best of it. But if I don’t accomplish it this month, then that’s alright. I have the rest of my life to accomplish these things, and I don’t have to place a time stamp on it. But I’m also not going to wait until someday to go do them. Because someday is today. We’re not promised tomorrow, so don’t wait.

Yes, there are 11 more months to 2015, but don’t wait till next month. You’re 1/12 of the way through 2015, so start now, because before you know it, 2015 will be over. And then it’ll be a new year, full of new starts, and you could already be living your dream in the new year, instead of just starting to go after it.

Start today, and go after that dream. You got it!
