For the rest of the year, I am going to recap amazing life changing moments of my 2016. Yes 2016 was hard but it was full of life lessons and shifts. Therefore, I had to highlight my Labor Day weekend. Labor Day weekend, I kidnapped my best friend and we drove for 4 hours to attend Dope Crowns Delivery Room!! I was excited to go because I just felt in my heart not only as a woman of God, but also as a rising entrepreneur that I needed to go here to receive confirmation in some areas. And I HAD to take my best friend with me.
It was an amazing experience. We had fun from the time we left and we were delivered (not deliveredt lol) once it was time to head back to St. Louis.
Check out our journey there:
We were even blessed with a comfortable stay for practically nothing. Talk about FAVOR!
So needless to say, we made it!
Not only was Kia Moore an amazing host but she ministered to all of us while we were there! Crazy thing is, Jerika and I missed the 1st day of the conference due to adulting, but the same God that was at Dope Crowns the 1st day, was there the 2nd day of the conference as well. I wanted to share some things that have stuck with me since our trip there. I can definitely tell that the ministry of Dope Crowns has led me to where I am now, confident with my crown, demanding of my peace and firm in my relationship with God. Ok, anywho, check this out from Kia.
Dope Crown member found out she had a brain tumor which was making her have nose bleeds but its not cancerous.
Deliverance happens in different ways.
-Real queens know how to compliment one another. Real queens know how to collaborate. Watch the people who don’t clap when you win. Some people don’t want you but they want your influence. They don’t really want you, but they want your connection.
-Sadly, Darren Seals was delivered from Earth after being burned to death, but a new family of long term supporters were created which has since then fed and clothed the homeless of St. Louis, cleaned the streets, supported small black businesses and more.
-I received confirmation to host an event for Black Men to heal…Mind of a Black Man brought out men who never got together before to talk about social justice issues, life, self care and more.
-Dope Crown member announced that her tumor has disappeared!
-To be really transparent, I had a dream while in Memphis of a miracle at the office I work at. It seemed unreal. I had this dream while I was in a struggling season regarding business relationships. About a month ago, I watched that dream come true and business relationships are no longer a concern or issue. And I did NOTHING but what God told me to do.
-My son’s book club is taking off higher than expected. The son of a 16 year old girl who had no idea what God was blessing me with. Check out his story/brand now! www.booksnbros.com
